OmniSource Corporation Signs with SAI for Enterprise Information Technology February 15, 2011

SAI has contracted to deliver its Commercial Recycling Enterprise System (CRES™) to OmniSource Corporation yards and offices nationwide. CRES is designed to operate with and complement Steel Dynamics, Inc.’s (SDI’s) current implementation of SAI’s Integrated Mill Procurement and Costing System (IMPACT™). OmniSource Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, Inc.

CRES is the premier software solution for Tier-One commercial recyclers and brokers. In addition to a full spectrum of core transactional functionality, it delivers enterprise visibility to key managers across multiple locations, levels of authority and management disciplines in one integrated solution. SAI welcomes Grossman Iron & Steel Company , Saint Louis, MO as its newest client. SAI’s full complement of the Commercial Recycling ENTERPRISE System (CRES), XSight Business Analysis, Email ALERT!’s, Supplier Information Portal (SIP), along with new Financial Database, Gross Margin Analysis and Browser-based Financial Statements will be the core of Grossman’s management information systems. "We're very excited about concluding an agreement with a client of Grossman's caliber," according to John Underwood, SAI President "and we look forward to working together with their professional staff for a successful implementation."
