Inventory Analysis is a powerful management tool to monitor and manage inventory valuations on your SAI system. Inventory valuation is derived from numerous calculations, starting with the beginning inventory quantity and value. Subsequent purchases, transfers, shrinkage, and adjustments all affect inventory quantity calculation and valuation. Sales relieve inventory and the inventory valuation is used for the 'cost of goods sold' per each sales transaction. Inventory Analysis provides an effective means to monitor all the data components and calculations that affect each inventory's valuation.
An initial summarized inventory display by grade shows the beginning values and quantities, purchases, production/shrinkage, transfers, and sales. Inventory Analysis provides hyperlinks for each category. This drill down to the underlying detail enables of easy viewing of each entry that supports an inventory grade's valuation and quantity.

Unit of Measure:
Convert all weight information to the selected standard most appropriate to your commodities.
Region:
Yards or physical locations can be grouped together, i.e. to create marketing regions for which you wish to see comparative or summary information.
Yard:
Individual user-defined locations
Product Group:
Groupings like Ferrous, Non Ferrous, Paper, and Glass etc. may be created in addition to Product Classes.
Product Class:
Used as the basis of grouping inventory for accounting purposes, these same groups may also be used to analyze purchases.

Choose by Supplier's specific commodity code
