SAI CORE Management Systems: CRES
Perpetual Inventory & Production
SAI's Multiple Material Sales (SM) system meets the unique processing requirements for the sale of packaged nonferrous, paper or other commodities. It automates critical processes of multiple unit sales into one easy-to-use and secure system. The Multiple Materials Sales system integrates with other components of SAI's Commercial Recycling Enterprise System to take advantage of existing functionality, while adding unique features in order entry, shipment processing, and invoicing.
Provides the unique tools needed for the inventory management in the commercial recycling industry including perpetual inventory, sorting/grading, costing, pile accounting and production systems.

The transfers and adjustments portion of this module allows for the controlled changing of the inventory item values as necessary. Transfers from one material code to another may be accomplished with both weight, cost and processing fees amounts updated. Adjustments to inventory weights or costs may also be processed in this module. All updates and maintenance to the inventory records produce audit trail reports for your internal record keeping needs. For recording production and sorting, many multiple raw materials may be produced into one or more finished goods on one record in one entry program. Examples of these types of processes include sorting, shredding, smelting or baling. Selected production data is also recorded for each production location within the yard for analysis. Production updates inventory and creates the necessary general ledger information for reporting and updating at month-end.
